"Double yellow" can be described as synedochy. Check out the definition in your text. On another note, your poem doesn't do one thing that the original does. The original uses figurative language to compare something human/man-made to something natural. For instance, is the side-ways sliding like a snake? Or the way a swan floats? You get the idea ;)
